Nomyx Powers ECGI Mortgage Tokenization Pilot

Nomyx is supporting ECGI Holdings’ RezyFi mortgage tokenization pilot, which was covered in a Nasdaq-published release on March 17, 2026.

The release states that ECGI is testing the tokenization of residential mortgages through a pilot launched with Nomyx, beginning with up to $10 million of mortgages originated by ResMac, a residential mortgage lender operated by RezyFi.

The pilot is designed to test whether mortgage pool interests can be represented, tracked, reported, and transferred more efficiently in a digital format than through traditional multi-system processes.

According to the release, the pilot includes a mix of non-qualified mortgages and full-documentation conventional loans to test workflow performance across different real-world loan profiles.

Supporting Mortgage Tokenization Infrastructure

The Nasdaq-published release also notes Nomyx’s recently announced relationship with tZERO, which is aimed at linking tokenization capabilities with regulated broker-dealer, Alternative Trading System, and custodial infrastructure.

ECGI is not a party to the tZERO relationship, but the release frames the development as relevant ecosystem progress around Nomyx as ECGI’s pilot partner.

For Nomyx, the ECGI pilot highlights how tokenization infrastructure can support new institutional use cases beyond traditional private markets, including mortgage pool interests, reporting workflows, lifecycle events, and potential secondary market pathways.

The release also cites the Mortgage Bankers Association’s forecast of $2.2 trillion in single-family mortgage originations in 2026, pointing to the scale of the market where mortgage tokenization infrastructure may continue to develop.
